Jonny Price is the Senior Director of the Kiva Zip program at Kiva.org, which administers no-interest, crowdfunded microloans to entrepreneurs, artisans, and farmers in the United States and Kenya.
Price has led the Kiva Zip program from its inception in late 2011, and had oversight of its growth over the last four years. During his tenure, Kiva Zip has facilitated 1,400 microloans in the United States with a loan volume of $7 million, funded by over 50,000 lenders.
Price began his career in strategy consulting with Oliver Wyman, where he focused on the retail, CPG, and aviation industries. While at Oliver Wyman, Price supported the firm’s markets in France, the U.K., and the U.S. Later, Price worked with Kiva as a volunteer in 2009, before joing the team and leading the Kiva Zip program. Price is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he earned a BA in History.
