SBA Releases Revised Size Standards Methodology – The SBA has revised its white paper explaining how it establishes, reviews and modifies small business size standards. The revised paper is available for review and comments, due June 26, 2018. View the notice here.

 

Legislation:

S. 2786 (Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY): to expand opportunities to available employee-owned business concerns through Small Business Administration loan programs. Text not yet available.

 

S. Res. 498 (Sen. Jim Risch, R-ID): A resolution expressing support for the designation of the week of April 29 through May 5, 2018, as "National Small Business Week" while commending the entrepreneurial spirit of small business owners of the United States, and the impact they have on their communities.
