A group of nearly 15 Senators has expressed their hopes for a more extensive tax break for small businesses who contribute to the innovation landscape in the U.S., including those who routinely conduct research and development activities. Two Senators, Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Todd Young (R-IN), are sponsoring a bipartisan bill urging leadership to expand the research and development tax credit for small businesses to incentivize innovation in the American economy.
