AEO Partners with Mastercard and Pyxera Global to Strengthen Strategic Positioning of AI-Enabled Business Health Assessment (BHA)
Washington, D.C. – The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) is excited to announce its partnership with Mastercard’s Impact Corps to enhance the strategic positioning of its AI-powered Business Health Assessment (BHA). This collaboration with Mastercard’s pro bono volunteers will help AEO take a significant step forward in evolving the BHA into a dynamic, tech-enabled platform that delivers personalized insights at scale, empowering underserved entrepreneurs to build sustainable, thriving businesses.
The BHA, a diagnostic tool designed to help small business owners identify challenges, clarify priorities, and access tailored support, has already undergone extensive testing, most recently with over 140 entrepreneurs and feedback from business coaches from five partner organizations. The next iteration of the tool will integrate AI to analyze business data, provide tailored insights, and connect entrepreneurs to relevant resources based on their unique profiles. For more information on how AEO’s BHA has been making an impact, you can read our latest insight brief.
Through the Mastercard Impact Corps Pro Bono Program, AEO will engage with a team of consultants to conduct competitive benchmarking and market planning. These foundational activities will guide the BHA’s product roadmap and help AEO scale the tool for broader impact across the small business support ecosystem.
“We are thrilled to partner with Mastercard and Pyxera Global to advance this pivotal project,” said Natalie Madeira Cofield, President and CEO of AEO. This collaboration will allow us to strategically position the AI-enabled BHA in the market, enhancing its ability to scale and deliver impactful, tailored insights to underserved entrepreneurs. With Mastercard’s expertise, we’ll ensure the BHA is a powerful tool for small business owners and business coaches, helping them navigate the complexities of business growth.”
The enhanced BHA will help small business owners make informed decisions, access relevant resources, and engage with business coaches more effectively to address their specific challenges.
“We are excited to support AEO in strengthening the BHA and ensuring it has the greatest possible impact on small businesses across the country,” said Bianca Henao, Program Manager at Pyxera Global. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to help nonprofits build more sustainable and scalable solutions, and we look forward to seeing the BHA evolve with the expertise of Mastercard’s team.”
