Small Business Sentiment Drops to 11-Month Low 

The National Federation of Independent Business revealed that its Small Business Optimism Index dropped to 97.1 last month, its lowest level since February 2021. A lack of available workers and rising labor costs remain the core worries for businesses right now.

SBA Announces New Funding for Outreach Centers Aimed at Women Entrepreneurs through Minority Serving Institutions 

The Small Business Administration (SBA) will offer $1.5 million in grants to Minority Serving Institutions that want to start a Women’s Business Center to help local women entrepreneurs. The proposal deadline to apply is March 14.
