SBA Sidesteps Ban to Forgive Pandemic Relief Loans for Adult Businesses

According to a filing in Michigan federal court on Friday, the agency has said it will process loan forgiveness applications from dozens of adult businesses “without regard” to the ban, which has been challenged in multiple lawsuits on the basis on constitutionality under the first amendment.

SBA Officially Drops PPP Loan Necessity Questionnaire Requirement

The Associated General Contractors of America filed a lawsuit December 2020 challenging the legality of the questionnaire and the process used by the SBA and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to develop, approve, and publish it.

The SBA Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program Still Has Billions of Dollars Left

The program opened in April but had to shut down again before reopening to applicants. So far the program has received 14,884 applications for about 11.7 of its $16 billion of available funding, but only $2 billion has been disbursed.
