The self-employed and gig workers are anxiously waiting for the Small Business Association to update guidelines to its Paycheck Protection Program, which could mean bigger loans for the group. It’s still unclear when in the week the SBA will update its guidelines, meaning that those who would benefit from the change should still wait to submit their applications for the program.

Deluxe Corp.’s ‘Small Business Revolution’ Turns its Cameras on Black-Owned Businesses

Deluxe Corporation’s small business makeover TV series “Small Business Revolution” will spotlight six businesses from six neighborhoods across the Twin Cities, with each episode focusing on one neighborhood and its selected business. Season 6 will also focus its energies and total budget of $500,000 on Black-owned businesses within those neighborhoods.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Donates $1 Million to Help His Hometown’s Small Businesses

The fund was started in early February with a $500,000 donation from Aaron Rodgers, the Chico native who is a three-time NFL Most Valuable Player. After seeing the need, Rodgers decided to increase his donation to $1 million. It was augmented by $100,000 from NVCF, an anonymous donation of $100,000 and a generous donation from Sherry and Gary Holbrook of Holbrook’s Clearance Center.
