Yesterday, the Supreme Court unanimously sided with workers in a case eliminating ways for employers to limit procedural defenses in discrimination claims raised by employees. In Fort Bend County, Texas v. Davis the Supreme Court stated, “the requirement to file charges with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or similar state agencies isn’t a jurisdictional issue.”
