Yesterday, Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Representative John Sarbanes (D-MD) held a press call urging the Senate to take up election security measures.
This week both Chambers of Congress and the Trump Administration continues to work toward securing a bipartisan deal that will fund the government and avoid a shut-down before November 21st. In the remaining three weeks, Members and staffers are confident that a deal will make it through a democratic-controlled House and a GOP led Senate before the end of the legislative year.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the kickoff of National Veterans Small Business Week. The SBA is devoting each day to a different issue related to veterans entrepreneurship. Topics include transition assistance, entrepreneurial training, stakeholders and resources, access to capital, disaster assistance, and government contracting.
