On June 18th, the Senate Armed Services Committee hopes to bring the John McCain National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2020 (NDAA) to the floor. This bill will provide $750 billion in funding for national defense. A full executive summary of the bill can be found here.

This week the House Appropriations Committee will be considering Five-Bill Appropriations Minibus of FY2020. This legislation, H.R.2740, will include five spending bills: Labor-Health and Human Services-Education, Legislative Branch, Defense, State-Foreign Operations, and Energy and Water Development.
