The August 2023 employment update was made public, revealing that job opportunities in the United States remained steady at 8.8 million during August, showing no change from the previous month. Both job vacancies and resignations have decreased from their peak levels, while the unemployment rate, standing at 3.8% in August, remains close to a historic low point spanning nearly half a century.
