With just 9 days until the November 21st government funding deadline, top lawmakers are attempting to cobble together a short-term fix to keep the government open for a few more weeks. Due to the mass focus on impeachment, reaching a funding agreement has been a slow-moving process.

The House will debate 9 bills today that are under suspension including, H.R. 3537 a bill about the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Act of 2019 and a number of other small business bills.

Also happening today, the House Committee on Small Business will hold hearing titled, “Upskilling the Medical Workforce: Opportunities in Health Innovation.”
